Veneto Excellence
A winemaking region of great distinction, orginality, and extraordinary beauty.
WHERE WE ARE
Diverse wines for a diverse region

The Veneto is home to Venice, and its gorgeous canals, art, and architecture, Verona, with its massive Roman arena, the Dolomite mountains and their imposing and rocky stature, the hills of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene e Conegliano, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and pristine lakes, such as Lake Garda, which all offer extraordinary opportunities to see one-of-a-kind historic and natural landmarks.
But it especially offers us the chance to drink landmark wines.
This northeastern region is number one in Italian wine production, and features one-of-a-kind whites, reds and bubbles, such as the luscious Amarone, the mouthwatering Valpolicella, and the effervescent Prosecco.
Native grapes, such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, and Glera are almost exclusively used as they are particularly suited to the fascinating patchwork of different terroirs and macro and micro climates.
A ONE-OF-A-KIND WINE STYLE
Did you know?
Appassimento is the unique process of drying perfectly healthy grapes – local varieties called Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara – destined to Amarone to concentrate the sugars and aromas. The grapes are carefully selected as they must be perfectly healthy and loosely packed to stave off any possible rot. They are then placed on drying racks in special lofts, whose temperature and humidity are maintained. They are left to dry for up to 120 days before being vinified. The wines are typically rich and velvety with recognizable aromas.
